Privacy policy

Heap Labs LLC operates Table Jam and is responsible for the information processing described in this policy. This policy explains how Table Jam handles information on this website and in the Table Jam app. The app is currently preparing for public release; features and service providers described below apply where enabled in the version you use.

Playing together

Table Jam is built for local play on a shared device. You do not need a Table Jam account. Player names, game progress, preferences, and game-night information may be saved on your device. Our analytics service is designed to exclude player names and free-text game answers.

App information we collect

When connected to our live service, the app sends a randomly generated installation identifier, session identifier, app version, operating-system platform, device class, event times, and gameplay or feature-usage events. Events can include game starts and ends, offer views, purchases, subscription events, and rewarded-ad interactions. These identifiers distinguish installations and sessions; they are not a name or email address.

The app also requests configuration updates, including available offers and feature settings. Requests may contain the installation identifier, app version, platform, and device class. Like other internet services, our hosting providers process IP addresses and network information to deliver and protect the service.

Purchases and optional advertising

Apple or Google processes in-app payments through its store. We do not receive your full payment-card details. The app, Unity In-App Purchasing, and store services process product identifiers, receipts, transaction information, and entitlement status to provide purchases and restore access. Unity may also process device and network information to operate and protect its purchasing service.

Versions with rewarded advertising may use Unity Ads. When that service is enabled, Unity may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and ad-interaction information under its own privacy policy and your device permissions. This website

This site does not use advertising pixels or a third-party analytics script. It does not ask you to create an account. Amazon Web Services hosts the site and backend and processes the network information necessary to serve requests, maintain security, and operate its infrastructure. External links take you to services with their own policies.

Why we use information

We use service information to deliver configuration updates, understand which games and features work well, investigate failures, measure purchases and offers, prevent abuse, and improve Table Jam. We do not sell our first-party gameplay analytics. Advertising-provider processing, where enabled, is described above.

Sharing and storage

We use Amazon Web Services for hosting, databases, and event storage in the United States. Access to administrative data is restricted. Store and advertising providers receive information needed for their respective services. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the service, or in a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards.

Raw analytics event files are scheduled to expire after 400 days. Application logs are configured for 30-day retention. Installation summaries, aggregate reports, configuration history, and backup copies may be retained longer for service operation, security, or legal requirements. Scheduled deletion and backup expiry are not instantaneous.

Your choices

You can manage advertising and tracking permissions through your device settings, manage subscriptions through the store where you purchased them, and remove locally stored app data using your device’s app-storage controls or by deleting the app, subject to your device’s backup settings. Removing local data does not automatically erase server-side records or cancel a subscription.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, or to complain to a data-protection authority. We may need information that identifies your installation and verifies your request. We do not seek unnecessary identity documents.

Children and mature content

Table Jam is not intended for children under 13. Older minors should use it with a parent or guardian’s permission. Some optional content is intended for adults; follow the content labels and applicable age restrictions. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected it, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
